Overview
Your tour begins in the hustle bustle of Circular Quay, where commuters rush to catch ferries and street performers vie for your attention. Stroll through the narrow, Cornish-style cobbled lanes of The Rocks, Sydney’s birthplace, and visit Millers Point, a historic harbourside enclave. Move from old to new as we head up to Observatory Hill, offering sweeping, panoramic views of Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge. Then on to exploring Barangaroo, a contemporary landmark waterfront destination.
Harbour Cruise
Become a ‘Sydneysider’ and experience the city from the water. We’ll hop aboard the commuter, Cross Harbour Ferry and cruise beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Don’t forget your camera—there are plenty of photo opportunities of waterfront mansions, Luna Park and the Opera House.
Watsons Bay
Discover Australia’s oldest fishing village. Despite having been absorbed into the city spread, this place retains the charm of yesteryear. Enjoy a local lunch in a peaceful garden setting.
South Head
Now to South Head for a stroll through native bush and along cliff tops to admire the plethora of spectacular views: the Pacific Ocean to the east, the harbour entrance to the north, and the city skyline to the west. Learn more about the indigenous and colonial heritage of this picturesque region.
Macquarie Place
If time permits, we’ll take a short stroll to heritage-listed Macquarie Place, the oldest town square in Australia. See a cannon and anchor from the First Fleet ship HMS Sirius.
